Earthquakes in Southern California

Looks like there were a few earthquakes that struck Southern California right about 9:30 this evening. One was at 9:26 a magnitude 5.9 in Ocotillo, CA then a magnitude 3.9 hit just three minutes later, then a magnitude 3.6 two minutes later centered in the same location Ocotillo, CA. One minute later there was a 3.2 in Ocotillo Wells, CA and one minute after another 3.2 in Chula Vista, CA. Children’s Cancer Research FUND 5K at L.A. Live

On Sunday April 25, L.A. Live will host the Children’s Cancer Research FUND 5K run/walk. The event will help raise funds to increase research to help fight cancer in children. After the race there will be carnival festivities and celebrities like Jordan Farmar, Landon Donovan, Rafael Furcal, Michael Cooper and many more. Get a Free Organic Vegetable Garden

In celebration of Earth Week, groOrganic™ is giving away 10 organic vegetable planter gardens! The gardens are custom-built raised planters and space-saving barrels, a perfect choice for those who want a vegetable garden but are short on space. You could even put one on your apartment balcony.
