Cristobal Pier is located just outside the entrance to the Panama Canal in the city of Colon. The city itself is quite industrial, but cruisers can find some duty-free shopping and vendors within a short cab ride of the ship. A better idea, however, might be to stay in the cruise terminal and explore the colorful flea market housed on the pier itself. Cristobal Pier isn't suitable for independent exploration.
