Hilo, Hawaii Cruise Port

All of Hawaii is steeped in exotic culture and Hilo, the capital of the Big Island, is no exception. The ship docks within walking distance of town, so you can easily explore the city on foot. Shopping and dining are plentiful. You may prefer, however, to soak up some rays at Leleiwi Beach Park; this is also a great spot for snorkeling. Sites to see in Hilo include Volcanoes National Park, which is 45 minutes from Hilo by car, Volcano Winery, Mauna Loa Macadamia Factory and Volcano Village.
