    There are three cruise terminals in Southern California; they are located in Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego. The busiest of the three is the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal, also known as the World Cruise Terminal. This port hosts most of the major cruise lines at one time or another; it iis located in the LA community of San Pedro, about 15 minutes north of the Long Beach Cruise Terminal. The Long Beach Cruise Terminal hosts only Carnival Cruises on a regular basis, although other ships come in periodically.
